Telecommunications/VOIP Phone deployment

1. Conduct surveys/data collection – capture telephone numbers from end devices (good to have spreadsheet/ EXCEL experience).

2. Prepare VOIP devices for installation.

3. Conduct pre-installation network connectivity verification (good to have basic networking fundamentals: knowledge of access layer switches; VLANS; POE; Network Scanner Diagnostics).

4. Remove & Replace telephone handsets; annotate discrepancies in accordance with standard operating procedures (“SOP”).

5. Test VOIP handset functions in accordance with SOP.

6. Facilitate troubleshooting efforts of VOIP handsets with departmental stakeholders (analysts/engineers/projects leads).

7. Collect & Transport E-Waste in accordance with Project Manager’s directives.

8. Resolve trouble tickets to include changes/moves/updates of VOIP handsets/information as assigned.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • New York, NY 10005: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Telecommunication: 1 year (Preferred)
