Are you the person we’re looking for?

As a student at Secusmart, you will be joining our team of R&D professionals designing and developing carrier grade solutions as part of our secure communication product portfolio. You’ll assure quality of our products not only through rigorous testing, but also by constantly optimizing system parameters and testing methods including our self-built innovative Test Automation System. You’ll be a motivated self-starter who is excited at the prospect of bringing in fresh ideas and seeing them through to conclusion.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Test case execution, according to the test plan and exploratory testing, on Android and iOS mobile devices
• Analysis and reporting of test results
• Defect analysis, independent of and in cooperation with the development team
• Ensuring issues found are properly tracked throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery to closure
• Continuous feedback to the development team
• Contributing to established test methods & processes, and participate in improvement initiatives
• Depending on the level of experience on SW development and aptitude, you could also have the opportunity to work on a software development project

We are looking for talented individuals with the following skills and experience:

• Studying in the field of IT or technical sciences
• Real passion for mobile products and technology, especially Android or iOS
• Ability to describe and analyze problems
• Detail-oriented focus with an enthusiasm for quality
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in German and English
• Basic understanding of telecommunications and software development experience is beneficial
