Position Details

The OSP Construction Superintendent plays a vital role in the OSP team by facilitating the construction of a Fiber-to-the-Home network (aerial and underground) build.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• HDD Crew Superintendent is responsible for the overseeing the daily production work flows of up to three (3) separate HDD crews and managing the HDD field operations safely and efficiently.
• Responsible for overall site and crew safety and must exhibit and uphold Tilson’s safety values
• Responsible to meet with client, city officials, USIC locators and other similar vendors from time to time to line out the company’s HDD crews running lines and work flows and mitigate any obstacles or challenges as they arise, working closely with and reporting to the Tilson Construction Manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• The ability to manage and direct construction crew

• Valid US Driver’s License with no major violations in last 3 years

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• The ability to work safely, with or without supervision

• Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, locating systems, trencher, backhoe, excavators

• Minimum 3 years of managing and leading multiple HDD crews

• Minimum 5 years OSP experience

• OSHA 10/30

• Class A CDL is a plus
