Network Engineer

ACS Solutions has an immediate need for a Network Engineer II with experience in the Telecommunication Industry. This is a 4+ contract opportunity with possible conversion and is located in Centennial CO (hybrid with 3 days Onsite). Our client is a leading Telecommunication company.

Job descriptions:

• Training and mentoring of supported teams
• Team is in ethernet group at Company
• Taking in-bound calls from Companies Techs in the field/customers (nationwide)
• Turning up services for Metro Ethernet services
• Tier 2 support (tier 1 is the automation chat bot)
• Support internet, multi-point, point-to-point issues
• Performing bandwidth upgrades
• Configuration adjustments to support the tech in the field
• Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems
• Performs engineering design evaluations; may develop a range of products
• Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment
• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers’ needs
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Use various software systems and applications to effectively troubleshoot issues and equipment relating to underlying network connectivity, as well as identification of configuration and other related issues with managed services equipment

• Cisco (preferred)
• CPE
• Sienna (preferred)

Skills

• May require a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 0 to 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

The target compensation for this role is between $45.00 – $48.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary, depending on an individual’s experience, qualifications, and location.
