JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to join their Voice Team within the Network Operations department. This person will be working on an Avaya Acceleration project that will help support the full integration of Avaya Workforce Management systems across their contact centers with over 500 agents in different locations. This person will be working closely with customers and Voice Team members to identify needs and provide coordination on project requests through the full lifecycle of the project utilizing Eclipse as their PPM software. They will work closely alongside the Avaya Engineers and help facilitate requirements and specifications, develop project charters, work breakdown structures, closeout documentation, cost estimates, all while monitoring and reporting activities to leadership. This person must be vaccinated and have the ability to go on-site on an as-needed basis throughout the project lifecycle.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

2+ YOE in a project-based role supporting infrastructure or telecommunications projects (basic telephony knowledge)

Ability to facilitate and meet expectations through all phases of project lifecycle

Experience creating project breakdowns, documenting meeting minutes, cost estimates, work breakdown structures

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (communicating across teams, with leadership and with technical teams)

Experience utilizing PPM tools such as Eclipse

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience with Avaya or NEC telecommunications platforms

Experience supporting an Avaya migration as a project coordinator or project manager
