Fiber Optic Splicer Apprentice

Light Line LLC is seeking a career orientated individual in the Colorado Springs area for the field of telecommunications, ISP (Inside Plant) and OSP (Outside Plant) construction and maintenance. Experience is a plus but not required in the areas of:

Fiber Optic placement, Fiber Optic Splicing, Testing, and Termination. Starting wage is $17+ depending on experience, work history, and life skills. Raises are performance based.

Some travel will be required. However, we do not stay away for long periods. Travel is mainly in Colorado; however, we do travel out of state on a case-by-case basis for current client needs. Example: North Dakota, Wyoming . Travel expenses are covered including motel and employees also receive a Per Diem allowance during overnight stays.

No previous experience is necessary, but any knowledge will be taken into consideration. This position is technical in nature but also can be very physical. Problem solving skills or having a mechanical aptitude will benefit anyone who may be considering this position. You will be representing Light Line LLC and its affiliates when on the job and maintaining a relationship with customers on a daily basis. How you represent Light Line LLC in both appearance and ability to communicate effectively is as important as performing the job tasked. This job is outdoors in nature but may sometimes be performed in a controlled environment when applicable. The ability to differentiate colors is a must for this position. A clean driving record is also a must.

The individual applying for this position must be motivated, enjoy being outdoors, and capable of working as a team member or as an individual.
