As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team. Due to expansion we are currently seeking a Cable Technician for our IT/Telecom team. CAT 5 and low voltage cabling experience is preferred. The Cable Technician is responsible for service calls and project work regarding pulling low voltage voice and data cable for our clients. This person will communicate the status of work orders to the client and respective supervisor.
This person will be provided a laptop and company vehicle and will be responsible for maintaining accurate vehicle stock and inventory count.

Requirements
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Experience pulling and routing low voltage cable in a commercial environment preferred
- Terminating phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
- Performing appropriate labeling of all installed equipment cable
- Complete the assigned tasks safely and to company standards of quality and professionalism.
- Physical agility to climb overhead structures and willingness to work at heights up to 15 feet as well as the ability to use ladders .
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
- Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed items is BIG plus
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft office programs
- A clean driving history with no DUI convictions or reckless driving infractions in the past 5 years.
- This person must have a clean cut appearance, no visible tattoos (including sleeves) or piercings are allowed.
- This person must have parking available to take a company vehicle home every day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
