Intermediate Telecommunication Network Drafter

Tierra Geomatic Services is currently looking for an intermediate Telecommunication network Drafter with Minimum 3 years experience designers and RF Engineers to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of design packages for various FTTx and RF projects, consisting of buried or aerial permits, Optical or RF design
• Prior experience drafting or drawing in the Telecommunication industry i.e., Bell Canada, Telus, records, maps, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of large telecommunications carrier operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, splicing sequences, construction notes, construction as-builts, and technical reports.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
• Strong computer skills required – Hardware & Peripherals, Relational Database, Drafting (AutoCAD), and Mapping (GIS)

Essential Qualifications

• At least 3 years of FTTx network design;
• Good theoretical understanding of Tx/Rx Radio and Antenna system design;
• AutoCAD experience
• Strong abilities with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to review and fully interpret technical material and plans

Compensation will be considered based on qualifications of final candidates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
