Job Responsibilities:
Manage and empower an all-star team of Mid-Market Account Executives responsible for selling wireless voice, data services, and the Internet of Things. Coach team to develop and maintain relationships with high-level buying influencers in key customer accounts.
Actively manage teams performance against goals, supervise the account opportunity planning process and drive accountability. Conduct effective oversight of team’s pipeline throughout the sales cycle. Ensure account executives are conducting deliberate and realistic account and opportunity planning. Inspire and motivate team cultivating strong company culture and values. Celebrate success and provide constructive appropriate feedback as needed to drive performance and accountability.
Recruit and hire the right talent. Onboard new employees into the company’s culture. Possess a strong ability to identify underperforming account executives to determine how to best support success. Lead through example, train, and evaluate team to develop and grow your talent. Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field.
Stay hungry to learn, develop and grow – Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and host and attend sales meetings. Managers should maximize collaboration across the organization and support partners.
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED Req
Bachelor’s Degree Pref
Work Experience:
4-7 years Sales management
4-7 years Outside sales experience and a demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment within same company.
2-4 years Technology sales/Wireless industry
