Telecommunications Department Manager

Well established, Commercial Electrical Contractor seeking Telecommunications Department Manager. This position requires a ES07 Journeyman’s license with RCDD Accreditation preferred. Job responsibilities include managing a team of 10- 15 employees, estimating jobs, and customer relations. Proficiency in project management and execution. Comprehensive knowledge of design, implementation, and testing of new telecommunications systems for new buildings as well as updating existing systems to help customers meet their current and future needs. Knowledge of installation of fiber circuits for buildings and campus networks, including Air Blown Fiber circuits. Trouble shooting and servicing of existing telecom systems and networks. Clean driving record, background check, and ability to pass a drug test.

The ideal candidate would possess the following background:

· Ability to lead a team of 10- 15 employees to complete telecommunications construction projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

· Must be licensed in the state of New Mexico ES07

· RCDD Accreditation preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

· Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

· Strong Supervisory and leadership skills

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

· Advanced in Microsoft Excel
