Compass Consultants Inc. has a 50 year history of providing leading edge, professional engineering services and consulting for the telecommunications industry.
This full-time position will provide professional leadership and work direction to traffic control team and to design, inspect and carry out traffic control projects; ensuring they are profitable as well as compliant with laws and industry regulations.
We require you have the following:
- The ability to travel
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid CDL driver’s license free from an inordinate amount of violations
- Familiarity of the traffic sign installation industry
We prefer the following skills and experience:
- Experience with highway construction, use of hand and power tools, power equipment digging equipment, and skid steer operation
- Five or more years of experience in sign installation or similar trade preferred
- Understanding of roadway signage and its intended purpose to be able to determine if the work order and installation makes sense
- Two or more years of experience in a lead or supervisor role
- Two-year degree in construction management or related
